Fall League Survey
Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey about whether or not you plan to play in VOTS Fall League (including club players) and what your preferences are for nights, locations, structure, etc.
Registration for the first session of Summer League is open!
We are planning to have Monday night games in July and August. Plans for September are still TBD.

The initial response to the question about masters age (age 30+ woman matching, 33+ man matching) was good enough to say that we WILL PLAY Monday May 6, 8pm at Pecos Park, field 3 (bring white and dark).

We will have a game at least one of the following Mondays, maybe both, depending on additional responses.
For those who asked, this will not mostly be the younger end of masters age (I suspect that most of them are busy with the club teams). A high majority of respondents fall in the higher age groups (Grandmasters and Great-Grandmasters), but it looks like the numbers will probably only support one game, mixing all the masters age groups together.

First, I want to explicitly call out that the kind of change we are looking for takes time. If we want a change to last beyond a single fall or spring season, or beyond a specific league or tournament director, we have to set up infrastructure to get the outcome we want.
What we need to design at this stage are processes that allow for the people's ideas to be considered by the community, and clear paths for people to act on those ideas.
I'll put the word out once we have something more concrete to work with on the above. For now, keep incubating your good ideas. Jam out on the Discord, or talk with your teammates and friends. Poke holes in your ideas to see if they could actually work :)
